01 / About

Grounded in education.
Driven by possibility.

I’m David Rmouch, an education professional with over 20 years of experience and a focus on building better digital learning experiences.

My work explores how artificial intelligence and well-designed systems can support educational institutions, teachers, students, and administrators — making complex processes simpler and creating more room for meaningful learning.

I believe the most valuable innovation starts with understanding people. That means designing around real classroom needs, keeping educators in control, and making technology purposeful, accessible, and practical.

Interactive / Model comparison

Capability is only half the conversation.

Compare published API rates, inspect a dated benchmark snapshot, and estimate token costs for your workload. These are reported results, not tests performed by David Rmouch.

API pricing · USD per million tokens

Bars start at zero · values shown in USD / 1M tokens · lower costs less

Announcement rates checked 16 Oct 2026. Gemini 4 Argon is introductory pricing. Cached rates assume eligible cache hits; cache creation and storage can cost extra. Rates are not subscription prices. See original announcements below.

Estimate a token workload

Millions of tokens per run. Standard input and cached input are separate quantities.

Formula: standard input × input rate + output × output rate + cached input × cache rate. Excludes tool calls, retries, hidden or extra reasoning usage, cache writes/storage, taxes, and discounts. Equal token quantities do not imply equal task quality.

How to interpret these comparisons

Benchmark scores depend on model versions, prompts, agent harnesses, reasoning effort, tools, budgets, and fallback behavior. A lead on one test does not establish a universal winner. Price charts compare published rates; benchmark charts preserve one dated comparison table. They cannot establish the best value per completed task without a matched workload evaluation.

Editorial perspective: choose a realistic evaluation set, check output quality, measure end-to-end latency, and compare total cost including failed attempts. Use a smaller or cheaper model only when it meets the same acceptance criteria. This guidance is commentary, not a result claimed by a model provider.

Sources, verification & update policy

Summaries are checked against linked first-party publications. Provider performance claims are attributed, not independently replicated. Commentary appears in a separate labeled panel. Publication dates are shown when verified; review dates are not substituted for missing publication dates. Illustrations are original editorial artwork, not publisher assets or endorsements. This is a manually curated edition; no scheduled feed is running.
